Una volta chiudevi gli occhi quando mi baciavi / You used to close your eyes when you kissed me is a site-specific work created for the courtyard of Castello di Lisignano by the Italo-American artist with natural and artificial materials he found there.
Almost an echo of the numerous monuments to fallen soldiers which mark the various towns in the region, Flinn’s sculpture -a metal flag placed on a pile of stones with a snakeskin spread over it- is actually part of his exploration of the contrast between primordial survival instincts and the constraints of social infrastructures.
