A graduate of Rochester University, lives and works in N.Y. From the very beginning, his work has always revealed a strong propensity for conceptual and philosophical themes in the way in which he moves transversally between modern and ancient art, deconstructing their languages and practices and remodeling these with contemporary sensibility.
“Painting” he wrote “never relates to the present, its present is realized through the past”. He uses diverse materials and techniques creating a continuous form of hybrid language without renouncing that ‘majesty’ that is the inner soul of every classical expression.
