Giulio Iacchetti is engaged in the research and definition of new object typologies. In 2009 he was honoured with the Premio dei Premi for innovation for the Eureka Coop project, while the Milan Trienniale held a solo exhibition of his work. He has always been interested in the evolution of the relationship between craft and design.
In 2012 he inaugurated Internoitaliano, a “scattered factory” made up of several artisan’s workshops inspired by the Italian way of life and living. He won the Compasso d’Oro in 2001 and in 2014.
